ABOUT

We are Hunky-Dory! After a career of successes together, Steve Michaels and Diana Young found the greatest reward and satisfaction from producing a wide dynamic variety of creative projects. For the last 15 years in Santa Monica, as Managing Partner and Executive Producer at Brickyard VFX respectively, we have built a reputation for our creative approach and problem solving. The ever-changing scope of our roles affords us the opportunity to build teams of creative specialists with whom we have collaborated over many projects. From the base of our two companies, Hunky-Dory, the VFX and motion graphic design company, and Mercy Brothers, the live action production company, we span everything from full concept and production, to post and finish, and sometimes just one specific facet of a project.
